Barack Obama has not only inspired America but the entire World in his
phenomenal quest for the presidency of the United States.
His eloquent and stirring words have been a banner call for hope and change. He has begun the process of encouraging each of us to ask ourselves just what can we do to bring about that change on both small and large levels. His march is our march. His road is our road.

I have been creating art work since I was a little girl growing up in rural North Carolina. As a child art was my favorite past time and I spent hours drawing on anything I could get my hands on and creating stick figure portraits of visiting guests.
Today my colorful art sells around the world. I love using brilliant and vibrant colors to depict people enjoying the simple things of life. I consider myself a Spiritual, Visionary Folk Artist.
That title fits all that I am involved in. As a Spiritual teacher, counselor and motivational speaker I believe that spirituality is the backbone of our reality. Our visions are a tie to our ancestors and
a connection to the future. Folk art is just who we are; it is the soul of our existence.

That quote inspired me to create this web site and "Just Do a Simple Thing." Obama lights the path for us to begin to bring about a shift upon the planet, but the reality is that each of us are reflections of a brighter source. We all have the ability to inspire, heal and transform others with our actions.
This web site is my way of supporting change. I ask each of you to "Just Do a Simple Thing." A simple thing can change someone's life.
Examples:
Buy 10 prints at wholesale, resell them to others who support Obama. Take the profit and donate it to a worthy cause. That cause could be Barack Obama's campaign, the Democratic Committee, Care, The Salvation Army, The United Way or many of the various other charities in your community or around the world.
Of course your "Simple Thing" could be raking a neighbor's yard, volunteering at a food bank, sending cards to our service men and women, teaching someone to read, giving someone some positive feedback or any act of compassion and healing.
The "Just do a Simple Thing," campaign is a challenge to each of you to not just let this battle cry of Change be only about this election and this time but to let it be a refrain for a shifting consciousness that honors the light in all of us from this point on.
